CLIC Sargent partners with OOhyes to drive awareness for World Cancer Day

OOhyes is thrilled to share the launch of a new OOH campaign from CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading charity for young cancer patients and their families.

The campaign is scheduled to cover February 4th – World Cancer Day – with the charity aiming to raise mass awareness and drive donations so that children, young adults and their families can continue to receive support from CLIC Sargent when they need it most.

Digital 6-sheets will be deployed tactically throughout High Streets and fast food outlets supported by Large Format Digital screens in several key cities across the UK, with a guaranteed number of impressions safeguarded thanks to OOhyes’ bespoke campaign planning tool.

CLIC Sargent was founded to help stop cancer destroying young lives. The charity provides grants and free accommodation close to hospitals for young people and families struggling with costs, while dedicated care teams are on hand to help with everything from getting benefits to treatment closer to home.

Commenting on the campaign, Joanna Hancock, Head of Development, Philanthropy and Partnerships at CLIC Sargent said: “The pandemic is having a huge impact on the young people and families we support, but it has hit cancer charities like CLIC Sargent hard this past year and is having a significant impact on our ability to raise money. We’re really excited to be working with OOhyes on this World Cancer Day campaign and can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done, this advertising space is going to help us reach audiences far and wide.”

George Rossides, CEO and Founder of OOhyes, added: “We are proud to be supporting CLIC Sargent in their worthy cause to reach thousands of people across the country. With the pandemic placing even more financial strain on children, young adults and families affected by cancer, it’s crucial that charities like CLIC are there to help. We encourage anybody who can spare it to make a donation.”
